Investors, entrepreneurs, skilled professionals, and business financiers worldwide can now explore the UAE's fast-growing markets through a specialised visit visa that allows a total stay of up to 180 days, offering both single and multiple entry options.
The UAE’s Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP) has introduced a Business Opportunities Visa, offering a specialized visit visa that can last up to 180 days in total.
The Business Opportunities Visa is designed to attract global entrepreneurs, investors, skilled professionals, and capital owners. It comes in different validity options—60, 90, or 120 days—while ensuring the holder’s total stay does not exceed 180 days. Applicants can choose between single or multiple entries, depending on their business needs.
To qualify for the 180-day business visa, the ICP has specified four main requirements:
Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director General of the Authority, emphasized that this measure aims to attract entrepreneurs who can contribute to the UAE’s economic growth through innovative ventures and strategic projects.
The UAE already boasts world-class infrastructure, legal frameworks, and competitive logistical services, offering fertile ground for new businesses to thrive. This visa further underscores the UAE’s strategy to draw in high-potential investment and specialized talent, aligning with national initiatives to build a sustainable, knowledge-based economy.
Through the 180-day business visa, holders can travel to the UAE for market assessments, partnership discussions, and other preparatory steps before setting up operations. The single or multiple-entry feature allows for both short exploratory trips and extended business visits. While in the country, entrepreneurs can tap into the extensive support systems designed to foster a robust business environment.
The UAE government’s move to simplify visa procedures, combined with strong economic fundamentals, makes the emirate increasingly attractive to foreign investors and professionals. Applicants can begin the process via the ICP website, ensuring they meet all documentation and eligibility criteria. With the new 180-day business visas, the UAE’s commitment to nurturing global entrepreneurship continues to take shape, offering ample opportunities to develop strategic projects and boost economic growth.
